It was a bitter-sweet day for Kim Clisters. Her boyfriend, sixth seed Australian Lleyton Hewitt, lost to third seed Juan Carlos Ferrero 6-4, 3-6, 6-7, 1-6 to set up a semi-final clash with Andre Agassi.
'It's exciting. I am playing good tennis in New York,' the Spaniard, who is also the French Open champion, said.
