Indian leading junior pair Sanaa Bhambri and Sania Mirza stormed into the semi-finals of the girls' doubles at the French Open on Tuesday.
They beat Kateryna Bondarenko of Ukraine and Heidi El-Tabakh of Egypt 7-6 (7-5), 6-4 to set up a semi-final meeting with Katerina Bohmova of the Czech Republic and Michaela Krajicek of the Netherlands.
Bohmova and Krajicek got the better of Iris Ichim and Jamea Jackson of the United States, 6-3, 6-1 in another quarter-final.
Sania is currently ranked 13th in doubles while Sanna is ranked 63rd.
In April this year, the duo won the Grade 1 doubles title at the Shuzo Challenge Japan Open Junior Championships.
The other semi-final will be between Spain's Marta Fraga / Adriana Gonzalez Penas and Andrea Hlavackova of the Czech Republic and Aurelija Miseviciute of Lithuania.
The Spaniards made the grade after Hungary's Virag Nemeth and Agnes Szavay retired in their quarter-final match with the scores reading 6-3, 4-5 in favour of the Spaniards.
