The Great Survivor
Armstrong is very good, but is he the best ever?
Miguel Indurain, who won the Tour on five consecutive occasions, thinks not.
"Eddy 'the Cannibal' Merckx raced in everything - perhaps too many races in the end - but he used to win them all, so for me he is the best."
Armstrong, himself, feels "He [Indurain] was an incredible time-trialist, the best that ever lived."
