US Grand Prix

Michael Schumacher won a wet and wild US Grand Prix to claim the 70th victory of an extraordinary career.

Following the victory, the German, on 92 points, established a nine-point lead over McLaren's Kimi Raikkonen with just the Japanese Grand Prix remaining.

Montoya finished sixth and was left with no chance to overtake Schumacher in the title race.
