Harris' figures of 10-3-15-1 was the most economical by a Kiwi bowler bowling his full quota of overs against the West Indies. The previous best figures being: 10-1-18-2 by Gavin Larsen at Georgetown on 3-4-1996.

The unbeaten partnership of 149 runs between Nathan Astle and Roger Twose was New Zealand's fourth highest for the third wicket against any country.
