Sunday, April 16, will be a day to remember for Indian hockey. It won its first international title in five years when the team, led by Ramandeep Singh, beat Germany 3-2 in the final to win the four-nation pre-Olympic tournament in Perth. Dhanraj Pillay (no. 9), the hero of India's triumph, celebrates after scoring the first of his two goals.
