It is to be noted that the 3 players below Mongia in the dismissals / match Stewart, Parore & Flower have played several matches as pure batsmen - esp. Stewart.

The 2 players with lower avg are Boucher ( who comes in often at 9 or 10) & Kalu. . But Kalu has a great inns per 50 statistics which means that he either gets out very cheaply or makes a vital contribution. Also Kalu's avg is marginally lower than that of Mongia.

I feel the key statistic for a keeper batsman is the innings per 50 runs. That clearly shows Mongia to be pathetic.
