Scorpion
Private Investigator Mac Gargan turned into the Scorpion on J Jonah Jameson's behest, the editor determined to stop Spider-Man by creating his own freak. Gargan went mad and constantly tried to get back at Spidey and Jonah, but has somehow never managed to. In the current Marvel continuity, he is the 3rd Venom.
