Speaking about the calendar with the scantily-clad models striking poses with coffins, a Lindner spokesman said that it was an attempt to portray "perfect harmony between Lindner coffins and natural wood, blue sea, red flowers, green fields and beauty of the female body", the Daily Star reported.

However, Catholics in Poland have expressed anger over the steamy marketing strategy and insisted that they should be stopped because they blur the line between sex and death.

A man caught by the police has confessed that he had up to 90 Melbourne Bitter cans the day before he got caught drunk-driving.

The 51-year old man, Trevor Alexander Warren, who represented himself this week in the Bathurst Local Court in New South Wales, has been banned from driving for six months, News.com.au reported.

The DundeeBeach resident was pulled over by police at 6.14am on Monday at a random breath testing station, after they noticed the smell of alcohol coming from the car.

The Northern Territory man revealed that he had consumed 90 cans, which equates to drinking more than 33 litres of beer.

Warren's breath analysis recorded 0.108 which is more than double the legal limit as a result of which his license has been suspended for six months and has been fined 450 dollars.

Young Japanese people aren't having sex, a new survey has revealed.

The survey conducted by the Japan Association for Sex Education that asked questions about the sexual habits and dating practises of female college students, found that almost 40 percent women confessed to being virgins, News.com.au reported.

National Institute of Population and Social Security Research revealed that 61 percent of unmarried men and 49 percent of women, aged 18-34, are not in any kind of relationship, an increase of nearly 10 percent from 5 years earlier.

A separate study conducted by Japan Crush found that 30 per cent of unmarried men had never had a relationship with a woman at all.

According to experts, less job security, economic uncertainty and women's conservative views at home and workplace were partially to blame for decrease in singles looking for love.

YouTube user Bjarki Mikkelsen has posted a video that shows a ball of light appear in the sky above Akureyri, Iceland. The video shows this strange light landing in a populated neighborhood.

This video was quickly reposted by several UFO and conspiracy websites, asserting that the video is proof of an extraterrestrial craft landing in Iceland. But not everyone shares that conclusion. Many believe the video to be a hoax created by Bjarki Mikkelsen

A strange object, which mysteriously looks like a fireball, can be seen coming to earth in the 43-second-clip. The unidentified object descends towards a settlement, identified as Akureyri in Iceland, the Mirror reported.

As some cars drive along the road in the foreground, the object continues its descent before disappearing from view behind some houses.

American researchers have revealed that Oreo cookies are just as addictive as cocaine since both of them give the brain the same amount of pleasure.

For the Connecticut College study, scientists studied the brainwaves of rats, when they were fed the sugary biscuit, and found that neurons triggered in the pleasure points of the rodents' brains matched those switched on by cocaine, the Daily Star reported.

Professor Joseph Schroeder explained that the research supports the notion that high-fat and high-sugar foods stimulate the brain in the same way that drugs do.

Astronomers have discovered a large asteroid that is zipping past Earth and have said that it is set to return on August 26, 2032.

Astronomers in the Ukraine found the asteroid on Saturday and promptly named it 2013 TV135, Fox News reported.

The asteroid made a close approach to Earth on September 16, when it came within about 6.7 million kilometres and it is likely to pay our planet another visit in 2032.

However, NASA has allayed fears that the massive space rock could prove dangerous, with the US space agency saying that the probability this asteroid could then impact Earth is only one in 63,000.

The book published by Michael O'Mara Books disclosed some fascinating facts and statistics about humans which shows that a person who smokes 20 cigarettes a day, on an average loses 2 teeth every 10 years and a person will walk 3 times around the world in the average lifetime.

An amateur photographer is apparently convinced that a new unusual photograph captured by him can reignite the debate over the existence of the Loch Ness Monster.

David Elder, who doesn't exactly know what he snapped while at the FortAugustus end of the loch, has claimed that a "solid black object" gliding beneath the lake's surface caused the sudden ripple, Metro.co.uk reported.

He said that he was at the pier head at Fort Augustus and he was taking a picture of a swan at the time, when out of the corner of his right eye he caught sight of a black area of water about 15 feet long, which developed into a kind of bow wave.

A scientist from US was one of the very few people on Earth who could say that he corrected Albert Einstein's math -- and got him to admit as much.

"Therefore your transformation equation is correct, mine wrong," wrote Einstein in a candid letter to Herbert Salzer in 1938, admitting that his number crunching didn't measure up to that of the 23-year-old Crown Heights native.

That letter - the equivalent of Mozart praising a young pianist - along with another Einstein wrote Salzer are up for auction on Nov. 7 at Guernsey's Auction House on the Upper East Side and could fetch close to 400,000 dollars.

While working on his thesis for a master's degree in math and applied sciences at Columbia University, Salzer wrote Einstein about an error in his distant parallelism field theory.

Einstein wrote back, "I don't have my earlier work available .?.?. But it sure seems that I have made the same mistake there." Einstein signed that letter, "With the highest esteem."

"I had written to him questioning a point about the first approximation equation," Salzer once wrote.

Einstein, after laying out a series of brain-busting equations, concluded that Salzer had been mistaken.

"Yours respectfully, A. Einstein," the brain behind the theory of relativity signed the Aug. 29, 1938 letter in his native German.

But less than a month later, Einstein reconsidered.

"Shortly after I wrote you, I noticed that the error was on my side," Einstein wrote Salzer on September 13, 1938.

Iran is reportedly planning to send another live monkey into space next month, a top space official said.

Deputy Head of Iran's space organisation Hamid Fazeli said the second live animal will be ready within a month to be sent into space via a liquid-fuel launcher, News24 reports.

In January this year, Iran claimed to have successfully launched a live monkey into space and brought it safely back to earth.

However, the experiment's success remained disputed after a different monkey was presented to the media post-landing.

Western governments have shown concern over Iran's space programme as they fear Tehran is trying to master the technology required to deliver a nuclear warhead, the report added.

However, Iran has denied all such claims.
