Shah Rukh SHOULD be allowed in Wankhede: Raj Thackeray

Maharashtra Navnirman Sena chief Raj Thackeray on Tuesday stated that actor Shah Rukh Khan should be allowed entry in the Wankhede stadium in Mumbai.

"Whatever happened that time was wrong. The chapter is closed now. He should be allowed inside Wankhede stadium. He is not a terrorist," Thackeray told reporters.

"Such childishness should be stopped and he should be allowed entry," he said.

Earlier today, the Maharashtra Pradesh Congress Committee had appealed to the Maharashtra Cricket Association to reconsider its ban on Khan.

Last year, the MCA had banned the actor from the stadium for five years after Shah Rukh allegedly behaved badly with a security guard and association officials at the Wankhede stadium in Mumbai.
