In its 77th year, the Lalbaugcha Raja attracts millions of devotees every year. The 12 feet statue is the main idol for the Lalbaugcha Raja Mandal.
Kambli Arts, situated at Chinchpokli, have been making the popular idol since 1935.

The idol attracts over 8 lakh devotees every day, with the number of visitors on the festival's first and final day going above 10 lakh.
With security being the top priority of the mandal, this year 200 security guards, police personnel have been deployed and 100 CCTV cameras have been installed.

Devotees donate generously to the mandal. Last year, the total collections reached a record Rs 22 crore.
The Lalbaugcha Raja Ganeshotsav Mandal has trebled its insurance cover from Rs 14 crore to Rs 45 crore.
