Mitt Romney has recovered on a lot of lost ground in recent weeks and, in the Republican rally in Tampa, Florida, on Wednesday, he continued in the same vein.
Florida has, in the recent past, been a Republican stronghold. However, it surprisingly swung in favour of the Democrats in 2008. It was therefore, imperative for Romney to make the right moves in Tampa.
And the Republican candidate did just that.
"In six days we go to the polls and get the opportunity to lay out our plans," he began, adding, "My plan is fairly simple.
"It is time for America to take a new course and I'll bring that change."

Romney proceeded to underline a five point plan that he hopes to implement should he get elected.
"I don't just talk about change but have a plan, and the personnel, to execute the same as well," he said.
"My plan involves focusing on energy, trade, education, budget and business," added Romney.
Elaborating on the same the presidential candidate said the focus of his government would be to take full advantage of the country's huge natural resources, particularly oil and natural gas, and ensure the utilisation of the same helps generate jobs.
When it came to trade Romney was clear that the focus has to be on Latin America because "we have a similar culture and their economy is as large as 'China'.

Romney said he would revamp the education system to an extent that Americans get to learn the skills they need to succeed and give them an opportunity to choose.
The Massachusetts governor also insisted that his focus would be to balance the budget in such a manner that the investors get convinced.
Romney stated that he would champion the small business as well as two-thirds of the jobs in the country came from that sector.
"I want to make changes in the way we tax. I want to bring down the rates for small businesses," said Romney.
The Republican candidate admit it won't be easy implementing his five point plan but said he was braced for it.
"I know it will be a challenge but am not going to get intimidated by it. I'll face it."
