Karnataka Chief Minister B S Yeddyurappa on Wednesday evening paraded his members of legislative assembly before Governor H R Bharadwaj at Raj Bhavan.
Yeddyurappa also requested the governor to convene the legislative session on June 2. Bharadwaj told the CM that he was awaiting the Centre's nod over the issue.
Earlier, Bharadwaj had downplayed the ongoing political upheaval in the state and made it clear that he was not considering stepping down from his post.
He had stunned the Bharatiya Janata Party led government on Sunday after he dashed off a report to the Centre recommending President's Rule in the state.
When questioned by reporters on whether he will resign if the Centre rejected his report, he said, "I have been appointed by the President of India for a term of five years and I will complete my term."

The governor doesn't have the right to seek the dismissal of a government in minority until its strength is tested on the floor of the House.
Speculations suggest that the Union government is buying time so it can give the issue a decent burial or relocate the governor to another state.
