Despite India claiming to have credible evidence against the inflammatory content spreading hatred against the people from northeast, Pakistan is in a denial mode. In an exclusive interview to CNN-IBN, Pakistan's Interior Minister Rehman Malik assures to take action only after getting evidence from India.
On inflammatory content emanating from Pakistan
If there is any query from India to inquire into this matter, we will definitely look into it and take action. I've enquired on my own on this issue and I categorically state that there is no initiative from our side on this which has come into our notice.
However if there is any evidence with India and it is sent to us through proper channels, we will look into it and take action.
On groups such as Jamaat-ud-Dawah spreading hatred
The venom also comes from India to Pakistan. The same venom might be going from non-state actors exactly same way it is sent from India to Pakistan. It's important to counter this. For that, the leadership from both the sides need to work together to counter that.
I offer my full cooperation to eradicate it as far as it exists in this region. There might be organisations which don't like our friendship but the cooperation that has started must continue.

On Pak websites spreading hatred
Image: Picture for representation onlyIf it's coming from Pakistan it will be immediately blocked. But knowing the internet world, some people sitting in Mumbai might be posting something and accusing Pakistan or some sitting in Pakistan may be posting and alleging India.
In the Mumbai attacks, the internet was used but the perpetrators were in the United States, Italy and Russia. Let's have some parametres for the internet.
A person does not give his identity and using twitter and others abusing the leaderships. You can't trace the person. All those service providers should make it mandatory that the user must provide his or her true identity.
We will not only block the sites but also take stern action if they have originated from Pakistan.
On Pakistan adding fuels to Assam turmoil
Why should we interfere in your internal affairs? What is Pakistan going to get from creating trouble in India? We have also felt that touch of terrorism. Pakistan has a policy not to interfere in internal matters and to eradicate terrorism from this reason.
India is our neighbour. The perception is absolutely wrong and motivated. Give us the proof, evidence and then see how we act on it.

I've seen it on Twitter. The first issue came in this regard was on twitter. But it is between the states and therefore we would like it to be verified.
We will need an investigation and we will fully cooperate with India on this issue. As far as Burma is concerned the United Nations has taken the notice of the matter. If we have any information we will share but as of today we don't have any information on it.
On inaction on 26/11 terror strike
I have gone through all the dossiers. Pakistan has taken action against all the non state actors much before the first dossier reached. On record with Mr. Chidambaram I had said that David Headley was a double agent and time has proved it.
Every country has its own laws. We have put the case on first track, the judicial commission went there, they did their job but when we brought the report to court the court said the witnesses should have been cross examined.
So according to the direction of the court, we have sent our final request to allow the team to go to India to complete this formality. I hope Indian authorities look at it positively.
When I meet your home minister I will raise this issue and I have invited him to Pakistan and I hope he accepts it. The perception created in India that Pakistan is not cooperating is not right.
