Reader Kedar Kolharkar from Bayreuth, a small town in Germany, sent this photograph of the community Ganpati that their small group of Indians organised this year.

"This year we have built a small temple replica on a sea shore, and have performed a Ganesh puja with modaks and Sang Aarti in various Indian languages including Marathi, Hindi, Telugu and Gujarati," Kolharkar says.
