The budget session of Karnataka assembly saw full attendance on Wednesday even as former chief minister BS Yeddyurappa got ready to leave for New Delhi and hold discussions with senior leaders of the Bharatiya Janata Party.

Yeddyurappa and his 65 legislators, who were revolting for a leadership change in Karnataka, finally agreed to attend the budget session after an assurance from the party's central leadership that their grievances would be looked into.

Yeddyurappa, who will leave for New Delhi in the evening, informed reporters that he is going as he has been invited for talks.

"I am optimistic and there will be an amicable solution to the problem once I finish the meeting with my party's senior leaders. While in New Delhi, I will meet all the senior leaders and apprise them of the situation and also put forth our grievances," he told newsmen.

"I am confident that there the problems would be redressed and the solution would be to the satisfaction of all in the Karnataka BJP," he added.
