The row over airing BBC documentary ‘India’s Daughter’ featuring an interview with a convict of the December 16 gang rape in Delhi hit Parliament on Wednesday.
A court in Delhi has banned the airing of the interview in which one of the rapists, Mukhesh Singh, blamed the victim and showing no remorse said that she should not have fought back.
The Delhi rape of the 23-year-old student in December 2012 left the world shocked. And the interview of the unrepentant rapist, who was sentenced to hang along with three other men, has now left it seething.
We ask our Rediff readers if the ban on the film due to be broadcast on March 8, International Women's Day, justified. Vote below:
