There were goons at the Aam Aadmi Party meet! Actually, “professional bouncers,” claims Yogendra Yadav, a founding member of the party, now turned dissident.
At the meet where a decision was taken to expel Yadav and his fellow rebel Prashant Bhushan from AAP’s key panel, “democracy was murdered.” Bouncers dragged his supporters out of the meeting, alleges Yadav, some of them were even kicked. “Arvind (Kejriwal) just watched.”
Bhushan alleged "goondagardi."
But the pro-Kejriwal camp rubbished these ugly allegations. They said 247 of 311 members who attended the meeting voted to remove the rebels for anti-party activities.
“The allegations made by Bhushan and Yadav are hypocritical. The meeting was peaceful,” says AAP’s Ashutosh.
Sanjay Singh, a Kejriwal supporter, told the media that reports of scuffle were baseless and untrue.
So then, did the rebels script the scuffle? Or is camp Kejirwal too ashamed to admit it flawed? We ask our readers to vote below.
