Trinamool Congress on Tuesday protested in Lok Sabha against alleged misuse of Central Bureau of Investigation in the Saradha scam by wearing black bands on their mouth and staged a walkout.

TMC members trooped into the Well and stood there for sometime before walking out.

Senior party leader Saugata Roy at one point removed the black band from his mouth and was heard saying that their mikes were switched off which was against democracy.

For the last few days, Trinamool members have been raising the matter of alleged misuse of CBI in the Saradha scam.

Last week, CBI had arrested West Bengal Transport Minister Madan Mitra in connection with the scam.

Earlier, TMC members, wearing black bands on their mouth, staged a silent protest before Mahatma Gandhi's statue in Parliament House.
