In the midst of unrelenting Opposition attack over 'Lalitgate', External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj on Thursday extended help to a distressed Indian in Dubai after her help was sought.

Swaraj directed her office to help Sreeji Sanju after her help was sought through Twitter in getting back his passport.

"My office is calling you just now," Swaraj tweeted after Twitter handle @shreyanairsree requested the External Affairs Minister to intervene saying Sanju was in a police station in Dubai and needs help.

After sometime, Swaraj tweeted "They have got your Passport back. No reason to panic."

Swaraj has been facing mounting demand to quit as External Affairs Minister for helping scam-tainted former IPL Commissioner Lalit Modi to get a travel document from the British authorities.
