Sonia to visit Rae Bareli this week to review projects

Congress President Sonia Gandhi will arrive on a two-day visit to her parliamentary constituency Rae Bareli on Thursday.

On the first day, Gandhi will lay the foundation stone for strengthening and broadening works of National Highway 24 B during a function at Firoz Gandhi Degree College, Congress leader Akhilesh Pratap Singh said.

Later in the day, she will take part in Roza Iftar at the Asia Utsav lawns, Singh said.

The next day, Gandhi will interact with people of her constituency at the Buemau guest house in the morning and also attend a meeting of the district monitoring committee in the Rae Bareli collectorate.

Gandhi's representative, K L Sharma has already reached Rae Bareli to make preparations for the visit, Singh added.
