Prime Minister Narendra Modi is reportedly not all that happy with some of his ministers.
In the two months since his government took over, Prime Minister Narendra Modi seems to have realised the weak spots of his ministers -- having observed them in Parliament and while handling respective departments and ministries.
According to sources, increasingly it is being felt that Modi interferes and takes bold decisions his ministers may negate his success.
While Human Resource Development Minister Smriti Irani left the government in an embarrassing situation over the Delhi University’s Four Year Undergraduate Programme issue, Minister of State for Parliamentary Affairs Prakash Javdekar has reportedly been erring inside Parliament.
Recently, the MoS left Modi and Leader of the Rajya Sabha Arun Jaitley red faced when he, without realising the absence of Foreign Minister Sushma Swaraj who was to take a flight to Nepal, committed to Upper House Chairman Hamid Ansari about holding a discussion on Iraq.
Even though Javdekar later apologised to Ansari and the Upper House, he played into the hands of the Congress that has been raising issues like the ISIS conflict in Iraq, the Israeli offensive in Gaza and even journalist Ved Pratap Vaidik-Hafiz Saeed meeting in Islamabad, repeatedly.
Modi is believed to have rapped his ministers over occurrence of such errors, sources said.
