The Shatabdi Express in which Congress General Secretary Rahul Gandhi was traveling from Ludhiana to New Delhi was pelted with stones on Tuesday evening.
Rahul, who was reported to be traveling in coach C3, however escaped unhurt from the stone pelting.
The windows of the train's coaches - C4, C5 and C7 - were damaged during the stone pelting at Gharonda near Ambala.
