India not downplaying threat perception from China

Although India's economic ties with China are being reinforced, it will not be at the cost of downplaying possible threat perception, India's junior Defence Minister M M Pallam Raju said in Kolkata on Tuesday.

The two countries recently resumed talks in New Delhi to settle the border dispute along the Himalayan stretch in India's North-east.
