Six people, including two policemen, were injured in a powerful blast in north Kashmir on Saturday.
Militants tossed a hand grenade at the local police station in Sopore town, which exploded near the main entrance to the police station, said a senior police officer.
"Six people, including two policemen and four civilians, were injured in the blast. All the injured were taken to the hospital for treatment," the officer said.
Security forces immediately rushed to the spot and the area was searched. No group has yet claimed responsibility for the attack.
Saturday's blast came only a day after the police foiled an attempt by militants to carry out a car bomb blast in capital Srinagar.
Militants also hurled a grenade at a Central Reserve Police Force bunker at Batmallo in Srinagar. The grenade exploded on the road after missing the target.
Though a vehicle was damaged, no one was injured in the explosion.
