Troubles don't seem to have ended just yet for Minister of State for External Affairs Shashi Tharoor who on Friday apologised for his flippant remarks about the headline-making austerity measures, on popular micro-blogging site Twitter.

Tharoor had tweeted that he would travel in 'cattle class out of solidarity with all our holy cows', which clearly riled his party, the Congress.

He quickly retracted for the same. 'It's a silly expression but means no disrespect to economy travellers, only to airlines for herding us in like cattle. Many have misunderstood,' he 'tweeted' on Friday. Soon after that Congress spokesperson Manish Tiwari told a press conference that action will be taken against the MoS at an 'appropriate time', Congress-speak for the high command's clearance.

Tharoor has nearly 175,000 followers on Twitter after getting on it for his election campaign earlier this year. But has the novice politician bitten off more than he can chew online? Should he quietly log off, and deny us all our regular dose of entertainment, or stay on and continue to do what he is so good at -- tilt at holy cows?

Do you think Tharoor should log off Twitter forever? Tell us!
