On Wednesday night, as reports of Bal Thackeray being in a critical condition surfaced, party activists had asked people to switch off their Diwali lights as a mark of respect to the ailing Shiva Sena supremo.
After news of Thackeray making a slight recovery on Thursday came in, Diwali lights at Sena Bhavan the party's iconic headquarter in Dadar in central Mumbai was lit up again in all its glory.
