Shiv Sena chief Bal Thackeray on Thursday criticised the Bharatiya Janata Party for speaking in 'different voices' over Hindutva.

"They [BJP leaders] say one thing at their chintan baithak [brainstorming session] and another outside," Thackeray said after releasing a music cassette at his residence in Mumbai.

"Advani says one thing while others say something else."

Asked to comment on Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee's Goa musings

about Hindutva and tolerance, he said, "Everything has a limit. Are we supposed to continue displaying tolerance even in the face of attack on temples?"

Thackeray said unlike the BJP, his party had never deviated from the concept of Hindutva.
