Speaker of the Lok Sabha Meira Kumar has directed the security of Parliament not to permit the 12 suspended MPs of Andhra Pradesh to enter the Parliament.

A heavy deployment of security guards has been ordered for Monday morning to prevent the suspended MPs from entering the Lok Sabha.

A ‘mini emergency’ has been clamped inside the Parliament. As a precautionary measure, five entry points to the Parliament will be heavily guarded. Photos of the suspended MPs

are being provided to the watch and ward. An attendance register will be kept at the main entry for MPs to sign. The control room shall have special CCTV cameras to ensure the MPs do not sneak in.

The Delhi Police too has been to assist the Parliament watch and ward.

The Lok Sabha Secretariat on Sunday held a special briefing session for the security staff.

Movements of the suspended MPs are also being monitored. If any one of the MPs enters the Lok Sabha in disguise, the Speaker has the power to send the MP to jail for three days.
