The Bharatiya Janata Party on Friday said it has no objection to French President Nicolas Sarkozy bringing his sweetheart Carla Bruni on his official visit to India later this month.
As confusion prevailed on whether the French president will bring the former super model with him, senior BJP leader Sushma Swaraj said it was upto the "guest" to decide who should accompany him.
"Why are you making it an issue," she asked in reply to a question on what was the BJP's stand on Sarkozy bringing his girlfriend on an official visit.
