The Pakistani military on Sunday dismissed reports that army chief Gen Ashfaq Parvez Kayani would meet Indian Defence Minister A K Antony on the sidelines of a regional defence meeting in Singapore.

A spokesman of the Inter-Services Public Relations, the military's media arm, denied the reports and described them as "totally baseless".

Reports in Indian media had said earlier in the day that Kayani and Antony were expected to meet on the margins of the Shangri-La Dialogue in Singapore next week.
