Road safety: The best and worst states in India

The map, above, shows the number of road accident deaths per 1,00,000 registered vehicles in each state of India.

The data, taken from National Crime Records Bureau, shows that Delhi has the fewest road accident deaths in India followed by Nagaland and Goa.

Bihar, West Bengal and Himachal Pradesh have the highest number of road accident deaths per 1,00,000 registered vehicles.
