Former prime minister P V Narasimha Rao is stable and likely to be discharged in two-three days, AIIMS officials said.
"He is hale and hearty. Since he has a history of heart problems, some investigations are being carried out," officiating medical superintendent D K Sharma told PTI.
He is likely to be discharged in two-three days, he said.
Eighty-three-year-old Rao was admitted on June 16 in the gastro ward of AIIMS as he complained of loss of appetite. Some tests had shown there was a rise in liver enzyme.
But he was shifted to cardiology ward yesterday.
