Even homegrown terror group Indian Mujahideen has in several of its emails spoken about Palestine and how it would target India for its proximity to the United States, which is a natural ally of Israel, say sources.
Pro-Palestine groups have their base in Delhi and Uttar Pradesh in north India and Kerala in south India. Police sources say that such organisations do not find it difficult to operate within India as they receive support from local terror modules.
The Israeli community in India has always been asked to be on its guard and its citizens have been more alert after they were targeted during the 26/11 attacks.
