Actor-politician Shatrughan Sinha's son Kush tied the knot with Taruna Agrawal, who hails from a London-based NRI family, in Mumbai on Sunday in the presence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Kush, 31, looks after Shatrughan's film and television production business, unlike his twin brother Luv, who has tried his hand in acting.
Shatrughan, a former Union Minister, is the BJP MP from Patna.
His daughter actress Sonakshi Sinha, who was last seen in the recently released movie Tevar,
took time off from her shooting schedules to attend her brother's wedding.
She also tweeted a picture from the wedding ceremony in which Modi is seen with the newly-wed couple.
"Thank you @narendramodi sir for keeping your promise to me! You made our day truly even more special," Sonakshi posted.
Maharashtra Governor C Vidyasagar Rao and Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis also attended the wedding ceremony along with Shatrughan's close friends and family members.
