SPECIAL COVERAGE: BIHAR RESULTS 2025

Rashtriya Janata Dal leader and Indian National Developmental Inclusive Alliance's chief ministerial face Tejashwi Yadav retains his Raghopur assembly seat, defeating BJP's Satish Kumar by 14,532 votes.

Deputy Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary of the BJP won Tarapur assembly seat by a margin of 45,843 votes.

Janshakti Janta Dal chief Tej Pratap Yadav finishes third in Mahua seat, with Lok Janshakti Party-Ram Vilas candidate Sanjay Kumar Singh defeating RJD's Mukesh Kumar Raushan by 44,997 votes.

Folk singer and Bharatiya Janata Party candidate Maithili Thakur, who was contesting her first election, won the Alinagar seat by 11,730 votes.

Gangster-turned-politician Anant Kumar Singh, who is in jail after being arrested in the murder of Jan Suraaj Party supporter Dular Chand Yadav, bagged the Mokama seat with 91,416 votes.
