Biden, Harris pay respects to US military at Arlington Cemetery

United States President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris laid a wreath at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier in Arlington National Cemetery.

Barack Obama, Michelle Obama, George W Bush, Laura Bush, Bill Clinton and Hillary Clinton were also present for the wreath-laying.

 

Biden, who was sworn in as the 46th US president at the Capitol just hours earlier, was greeted by a 21-gun salute as he arrived at the cemetery on the outskirts of Washington.
