Typhoon Hagupit ravages Philippines

Thousands of people were evacuated and 27 people were reported killed after the typhoon Hagupit hit Philippines’ south-east on the weekend. The typhoon caused landslides, pummelled houses and stirred up gusts of 170kph across the country’s central islands.
