An Indian origin man has been arrested after he stabbed his wife in the eye on the suspicion that she was having an affair with one his co-workers.
Police said Indrapaul Rooplal attacked his wife Neisha at her place of work on Monday, stabbing her in the right eye and then on her face.
Her co-workers said the events happened very fast and one of them chased her husband.
Rooplal was then arrested and police recovered the weapons used.
Law enforcement sources say that Rooplal confessed to the crime, saying his wife was 'cheating' on him.
Neisha was rushed to the hospital where she was operated upon.
