After having failed to make any breakthrough in the serial bomb blasts case in the Bodh Gaya's Mahabodhi temple in Bihar, the National Investigation Agency has released sketches of five suspects including a foreign national, police officials on Tuesday said.

A police official from Bodh Gaya said that the NIA has distributed sketches of them among the public, particularly rickshaw-pullers, auto-rickshaw drivers and local civic body members, and has sought information about them on a listed telephone number.

“The NIA have assured to keep the identity of the informers secret,” the police said. In mid July, the NIA had released two sketches of one of the suspects. Two Buddhist monks were injured when 10 blasts rocked the Mahabodhi temple on July 7. Later, the police recovered three live cylinder bombs.

According to police officials, NIA officials have questioned some local people over the past two days.
