The Bharatiya Janata Party-led National Democratic Alliance will decide on Monday whether to continue its boycott of Parliament, party president and Leader of the Opposition Lal Kishenchand Advani said on Friday.
The NDA had called for a three-day boycott demanding the dismissal of Railway Minister Lalu Prasad Yadav.
Asked if NDA would withdraw its protest to enable the House to pass the Finance bill, Advani, talking to journalists after attending an award-distribution ceremony in Kozhikode in Kerala, said, "I cannot say anything on the matter now and it is for the NDA to take a collective decision".
He said the boycott was also against the Centre's 'negative' attitude towards the opposition on several other issues.
"Since this government came to power, its response to our demands has been poor," the former deputy prime minister said.
"The United Progressive Alliance government has also compromised on general probity, which every government is expected to maintain," he added.
