A Public Interest Litigation filed in the Bombay High Court has sought action on State Industries Minister Narayan Rane's allegations after the November 26 terror attacks that some politicians in the state had assisted the terrorists.

Petitioner P Barde, a Solapur-based activist, has sought Rane's questioning.

Rane had claimed at a press conference on December 6, 2008 that he knew the politicians who helped the terrorists. However, he never revealed the names.

A division bench led by Justice Bilal Nazki on Thursday asked the government if they have recorded any statement in this regard -- Rane's or others. The government has been given two weeks to file a reply.
