Former Press Council of India's chief and retired Supreme Court judge Markandey Katju, who seems to have an opinion on almost everything, has said goodbye to Facebook. He published his supposedly last post on his Facebook wall on Tuesday night, which he also tweeted.
While slamming all and sundry, he rued that he got abuses and hate mails for his ‘sincere attempts to pass on the knowledge acquired from his gurus’
The post says:
Probably this is the last post. I am a man of 70, and I have very few years more to live. I tried to pass on my knowledge I acquired in my life to you, so that you may benefit. This knowledge I acquired from my gurus, before whom I stood with folded hands for decades before they gave me that knowledge.
But what did I get in return? I got mostly abuses from most you, because most of you are stupid and arrogant, and have no desire to learn. I am sorry I even tried to teach you. So, goodbye.
