Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar on Monday targeted Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi saying that his party’s decision to leave the National Democratic Alliance was right. Kumar was reacting to Modi’s controversial ‘puppy’ remark.
“It was a right decision of the Janata Dal-United to leave the NDA last month. The language being used in the last few days has vindicated our stand,” said Nitish Kumar.
“In politics, language should be used not to hurt the feeling of others. It is necessary for the unity of the country. There is a need to check and control such language,” he said.
Nitish Kumar said he was against the use of such language. “We should keep in mind the feelings of all,” he said.
“The next general election result will prove BJP wrong and vindicate our stand that there is need to take all along and not hurt the feelings of one community,” he said.
