Polling was tepid in the 6 constituencies of Mumbai in Maharashtra, in the final phase of elections. Mumbai recorded an average of 53 per cent voter turnout till 6 pm on Thursday.

While Mumbai’s politicians, celebrities and India Inc honchos were out to exercise their franchise, the aam aadmi -- like in previous elections -- did not participate enthusiastically.

Mumbai recorded an average of 15.18 per cent polling across all six parliamentary constituencies in the first four hours of polling.

Rediff.com brings you glimpses of the day’s polling activity from across Mumbai.
