A mobile shop owner from Raichur in Karnataka has been arrested as part of state-wide arrests being conducted in connection with recently-uncovered assassination plot.

The shop owner is said to have sold SIM cards to the suspects, who in turn used it to communicate.

The police say that he had created fake identifications and activated the SIM cards.

During investigations, the police found a majority of SIM cards obtained from a mobile shop in Raichur.

The police are questioning the suspect.

Investigations so far have revealed that the suspect might have sold the SIM just to make some extra money.
