The Kerala High Court has made a landmark judgment, slamming the "militant trade unions" in the state.

Pronouncing order on a petition filed by Kera Fibertech, Justice Sirijagan said trade unions are militant in nature and are interested in their own development rather than that of the industry.

The judge ordered the removal of the posts and flags of trade unions on the premises of the company in the Kerala Industrial Park with immediate effect.

The judge also ordered the state police to give adequate protection if necessary for removing the flag posts and flags. The judge also said that the trade unions do not have any rights to infringe into the KINFRA park and to play politics.
