The former Delhi chief minister said her conscience is clear and she is not scared of anyone.
Kerala governor and former Delhi chief minister Sheila Dikshit on Saturday hinted at quitting her post.
Dikshit was accompanying President Pranab Mukherjee during his visit to Shree Padmanabhaswamy temple in Thiruvananthapuram as a part of his two-day trip to South India.
Dikshit further elaborated that she will do as the will of Lord Padmanabhaswamy. She was talking informally to mediapersons outside the temple premises on Saturday.
She also said that it is her second visit to temple as governor.
“I am not scared of anyone. My conscience is crystal clear,” she said.
The Kerala governor refused to elaborate on what transpired at her meetings with the President, and with Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh held in Delhi recently.
On Friday Dikshit spent an hour with President Mukherjee during their air travel from Mangalore to Thiruvananthapuram on board an Indian Air Force special aircraft.
“Yes I discussed many issues with the President. Why should I share the details with the media”, she said.
Sources have stated that Dikshit has so far denied to bow down to the diktats of the Centre government to resign from the governor’s post to make way for an National Democratic Alliance-appointee.
