Even as the war of words continues within the Aam Aadmi Party, photographs emerged on Thursday of Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal practicing naturopathy at the Jindal Nature Cure Institute in the outskirts of Bengaluru.

The 46-year-old AAP leader joined a ten-day naturotherapy session to get treatment for his chronic cough and diabetes.

Since over a week, he has been staying in an accommodation with two bedrooms, a hall and a treatment room, called "Nest" at the Institute, a specialty charitable naturopathy and yoga hospital in an eco friendly campus of 100 acres.

His day begins early at 5.30 am with first a walk through the premises of the institute followed by yogic kriya and pranayama.

"He is regularly given juices once in two hours," doctors said.

The liquid diet includes bitter gourd juice, ginger tea, tulsi kadha, and juices of green leafy vegetables.

"We are waiting for the test results and then we will work on reducing the cough and bringing down the blood sugar level, which was around 300 when he came here," they said.

Doctors said even after the 10-day treatment, he will have to make lifestyle changes.

“He cannot consume fried food and sweets and there has to be an increase in high fibre food in his diet. Eating meals at correct and regular intervals and also adequate sleep are two crucial things,” they said.
