Israel Ansari and Sajida Khatoon were ecstatic on Wednesday morning after news broke that Ajmal Amir Kasab, convicted for his role in the 26/11 terrorist attacks in Mumbai was hanged to death at Pune's Yerwada Jail.

Ansari, who used drive a taxi in Mumbai until 26/11 happened, had lost six  members of his family -- his brother Illyas, two nephews, his brother-in-law, his sister and her son-in-law -- at the attack on Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus.

"I was waiting for this news for the last four years," Ansari, a resident of Thav village, in Nawada district in Bihar, said.

Sajida, mother of Mohammed Mokhtar, who was gunned down at the CST in Mumbai, said, "Kasab and his friends killed my son. It was the right decision to hang him," she said.

Sajida decided to distribute sweets after she heard the news.
